Identification on the back says "Sawmill built by Joe Henery on Nez Perce Trail in 1879 on Rock Creek." This should probably be Joe Heinrich, who had a sawmill on Rock Creek.
"The tree where Qualchan was hanged taken in the late 1880s by Willis Green or Greive, Davenport, Washington. Back of photo says "George Davis, Plaza, Wn. by Willis Greene? lives in Davenport."
