"Painting the Circus Room in the Davenport Hotel. A. Rutgers "Van" Vander Loeff, owner of a sign/show card business, was hired by Davenport and Harper Joy to do the room. Helpers were Carl Krageland and Don Haffner.
German Lutheran Emmanuel Church at 211 E. 3rd Avenue (between Cowley & Spokane Streets). Church was built in 1890 and Groschupf came as pastor in 1895.
Copy photograph of the First Presbyterian Church which stood on the southeast corner of Riverside and Monroe. Dedicated on December 15, 1886 and sold in 1889 just before the great fire. Stood where the Spokesman Review building stands.
Originally called Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, corner of Montgomery and Cedar Street. Later renamed St. Anthony Church. Building 1909-1910. Appeared in the Spokesman Review March 6, 1910.
